Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister should be required watching, but in the end it's comedy. These days slightly sad comedy, given the civil service seems to have been politicised by the populists. Churchill though was knowledgeable and experienced when he was writing about the importance of European collaboration, and at the same time venerated by the very people who lied and voted for Brexit.
